As a not‑for‑profit provider with decades of experience in their field, our client are looking to recruit an Accountant on a permanent basis based in North Lanarkshire.
Offering a hybrid working environment, this is a newly created role in the structure focusing on both technical and management accounting tasks to provide critical support to enable efficient and high quality service delivery. The Salary on offer is between £43,000 - £47,000 per annum with a range of benfits including 40 days annual leave, 35 hour working week and 10% contribution pension. Parking is also available on site with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the Accountant will support the preparation of Monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. This is a commercial role, offering decision support based activities alongside the presentation of MI and working with non-financial stakeholders to understand numbers. You will also contribute to core financial activities including:
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Financial analysis and decision support
* Maintaining strong financial controls
* Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements
* Supporting tender processes
* Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial ledgers
You will work closely with senior finance colleagues, finance officers, and operational teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys a varied workload.
