Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to children and families, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and care plans. Duties
* Assist children with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Foster positive relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of progress and any incidents that occur.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development.
* Provide support in educational settings, helping children engage with learning materials.
* Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
* Utilise IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children desired.
* A background in childcare or related fields is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children and families.
* Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation duties.
