Position: Payroll and HR Co-ordinator
Salary: £27,711 - £30,060 (pay award pending)
Type: Full-time - 37 hours a week
About The Role
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team providing valuable services to colleagues. You may have existing payroll experience or the right skills and aptitude to learn.
As our Payroll and HR Co-ordinator, you will assist in providing an effective payroll service to all council employees and members, including salaries, allowances, overtime payments, and payroll-related queries.
You will also support with accurate and timely payments to outside bodies such as HMRC, Unions, Warwickshire Council, and Childcare vouchers.
Additionally, you’ll support the wider HR team through activities like monitoring sickness absence data, administering Learning & Development programmes, and ensuring internal training courses run smoothly.
About You
Ideally, you will have experience working in payroll, finance, or HR environments with familiarity with HR & Payroll systems. However, if you have a good aptitude for data, can work confidentially, meet deadlines, and prioritize duties, we can train and develop you within payroll.
You should be able to work at pace with minimal supervision, be a great team player, and possess excellent communication skills.
