Wood Process & Energy is seeking an expression of interest for Senior Technical Safety Engineers to support process safety engineering services to our operations business.
Hybrid Working - working from 3 days in office in our Stockton or Glasgow offices
The Operations business delivers services to brownfield and greenfield projects across multiple sectors including Onshore Oil & Gas, refining, petrochemicals, bulk and fine chemicals, and pharma along with emerging technologies such as Hydrogen and Carbon Capture. Our Technical Safety team also provides specialist support to other parts of the business including consultancy services and provision of independent safety review co-ordinators and facilitators.

Who we are looking for:
1. Degree in relevant Engineering Discipline
2. Chartered Engineer
3. Relevant project experience
4. Fluent in written and spoken English
5. Applicants should be able to obtain a UK security clearance
Desirable:
6. Post-graduate qualification in process safety-related subjects
7. Awareness of process operations
8. Competent user of industry-standard software packages such as PIPENET, DNV PHAST, exSILentia, PHA Pro, HAZOP Manager
9. Certified Hazard Study Leader
10. Demonstrable experience in leading safety studies (HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA)
11. DSEAR risk assessment experience
12. CDM Awareness
