1-1 TEACHING ASSISTANT – FIXED TERM UNTIL 16 Th JULY 2027 TERM TIME ONLY – NO INSET DAYS 15 HOURS PER WEEK - Monday – Friday: 12.15pm-3.15pm Start date: as soon as possible Grade 3 – FTE £25,583. Actual salary: £9,231 Fixed term initially as this position is reliant upon EHCP funding. This position will be to support a 1:1 child in Reception. The successful candidate will be trained in the appropriate ‘specialist interventions’ and work closely with external agencies to ensure the correct provision is provided for this child. Under the supervision of the Class Teacher, the successful applicant will be expected to be involved with planning, implementation and assessment of the child within their care and be a critical link between our childcare and school provision. Values are central at all times and all staff are expected to have dedication to not only the childcare provision, but our wider community. It is essential that candidates have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in childcare. Knowledge of EYFS would be an advantage (but not essential).
