We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Worcestershireto assist with the appointment of a Care Assistantto work in a residential care setting.
We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available. Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.
Rate of Pay: £12.45 - £16.06 per hour
Summary:
We are looking for committed and compassionate Care Assistants to join Worcestershire County Councils Adult Services & Health team. You will provide essential care and support to individuals with care needs, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. This role involves personal care, social support, and assisting with health and wellbeing in either residential or community care settings.
Responsibilities:
* Work in accordance with Worcestershire County Council's policies on safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality.
* Participate in team meetings, training, supervisions, and staff development sessions.
* Support the overall functioning of the care service including regular observation and safety checks.
* Assist with personal care such as dressing, washing, bathing, and eating.
* Support individuals with social activities and encourage engagement with family, friends, and the wider community.
Qualifications:
* Moving and Handling Training (In-house training available)
* Fire Awareness Training (In-house training available)
Essentials:
* Willingness and ability to undertake relevant training, including mandatory and vocational programs.
* Aptitude for care work and understanding of dignity, choice, and confidentiality in a care setting.
* Experience with care planning and service-user involvement.

* You should have right to work in U.K
* This role requires an Enhanced DBS
