Randstad C and P are working with a global facilities management client who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with an extensive Fire Door background. This role will cover a portfolio of commercial contracts across the North of England.
The Package:
* Competitive salary of between GBP36,000 : GBP40,000 per annum.
* Full:time, permanent opportunity.

Core Duties
* Perform scheduled and reactive remedial works, repairs, and adjustments on fire doors and frames.
* Carry out inspections, installations and repairs identified on fire doors.
* Assess and order parts and equipment necessary for individual tasks.
* Assisti with other trades including general maintenance, minor joiner, minor plumbing etc.
* Ensure all repairs and installations adhere strictly to regulatory standards.
* Accurately complete all necessary compliance documentation, reports, and certification logs using mobile technology.
* Collaborate with site teams and clients, ensuring high standards of workmanship and minimal operational disruption.
The Requirements:
* Prior fire door experience (Essential)
* NVQ Level 2 Carpentry (Desired)
* Experienced within a similar maintenance/trades position.
* Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
* Ambitious attitude and readiness to specialise in fire safety compliance.
* Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS.
