We have a unique opportunity to provide financial control and analysis for the Production and Logistics departments of Britain's Oldest Brewer.
As the Production and Logistics Finance Manager, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities. Your insights will drive performance improvements and strategic decisions. You will chair monthly review meetings with key stakeholders, offering recommendations that shape our future, and collaborate closely with our supply chain team to ensure seamless alignment between operational and financial plans.

* Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour unpaid lunch
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for Production and Logistics
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, variance analysis, and performance metrics
* Lead monthly review meetings, providing insights and recommendations
* Create detailed finance reports to support business partners
* Coordinate with supply chain for alignment of operational and financial plans
* Assess operational financial aspects of capital investments for Board approval
* Participate in operational meetings, providing financial insights
* Set internal transfer prices for manufactured products
* Evaluate purchase price variances for input costs and procurement
* Coordinate stock counts with external auditors
* Partner with logistics providers to manage budgets and identify cost savings
* Manage HMRC excise and deferred duty ledgers, ensuring compliance
* Audit stock accuracy and value regularly
* Support procurement processes for raw and packaging materials
* Monitor utility consumption and forecast demand
The ideal candidate:
* Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT
* Experience in Consumer Finance, Retail, or Manufacturing industries is desirable but not essential
* Proficient in computerized accounting packages; SAP experience is advantageous
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder relationship-building ability
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Flexible and able to meet short deadlines
