This role is ideal for a teacher with substantial KS2 experience who thrives in a well‑resourced, forward-thinking environment.

The Role
1. Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class, including planning, preparation and assessment (PPA)
2. Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum
3. Making effective use of the school’s strong resource base to enhance learning
4. Supporting the wider schoolmunity through extracurricular activities and school trips
5. Contributing to a collaborative and reflective teaching team
6. Using personal reflection to ensure pupils are given every opportunity to extend their learning
7. Modelling positive behaviours at all times
8. Embracing the school’s strong sense ofmunity, where staff contribution is valued and appreciated
Requirements
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE – this role is not suitable for unqualified teachers
10. Significant classroom experience in Key Stage 2 – not suitable for ECTs
11. A proven ability to deliver high standards of teaching and learning
12. A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to school life
13. Willingness toplete a fullpliance process, including DBS checks
