Psd is exclusively partnering with a high-growth SME group, looking to bring a Financial Controller into the business to lead and define the finance function of this newly created group, implementing best-in-class processes, controls, systems, reporting, analysis, and defining the team structure.

To support and drive this expansion, we are creating a robust in-house finance team, and we are seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to spearhead this initiative.
You will play a pivotal role in bringing our accounts in-house, contributing directly to the financial success and growth of the organisation. You will lead the establishment and development of a high-performing finance team, shaping financial strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities:
* In-House Transition: Lead the transition of financial processes and functions from external providers to an in-house finance team.
* Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and develop a skilled finance team to support the diverse needs of our growing business portfolio.
* Financial Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
* Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends to guide strategic decisions.
* Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards, implementing effective risk management practices.
Qualifications:
* Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
* Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within a high-growth industrial sector.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
