Our client is a well-established automotive accident repair centre in Tewkesbury seeking a qualified Vehicle Damage Assessor.

Duties
* Prepare manual and computerised estimates efficiently, ensuring compliance with manufacturer, insurer, and customer specifications.
* Maintain detailed records of all estimates, flagging and addressing work lacking prior authorised approval.
* Seek authorisation before starting any work not automatically approved, and manage subsequent communication.
* Lay out with bodyshop personnel to ensure full understanding of the work scope as per estimates.
* Manage cases where vehicles are deemed total losses, liaising with insurers and bodyshop teams accordingly.
* Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety policies relevant to the role and environment.
* Uphold high standards of customer care and satisfaction through accurate and timely assessments.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in vehicle estimating, with Audatex qualification or training highly desirable.
* Strong background in automotive accident repair with transferable skills considered.
* ATA accreditation or manufacturer‑approved training is advantageous but not essential.
* Valid UK driving licence with minimal penalty points.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
