Management Accountant
Wednesbury
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Full Time, Permanent
Hybrid; 4 office-based days
The Management Accountant will support the Finance Director to ensure the accuracy of and continuously improve the management information within the business.
Main Duties Will Include:
1. Prepare the Management Accounts in a timely manner.
2. Provide commentary to the Management Accounts.
3. Provide suggestions that would lead to an improvement in financial performance.
4. Create, maintain and ensure accuracy of orders, sales and margin reports and distribute to the wider business.
5. Assist with forecasting and budgeting.
6. Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
7. KPI reporting for Department Managers.
8. Ensure accuracy of inventory reporting, including provisions.
9. Ensure accuracy of Bills of Materials.
10. Periodic update of Labour and Overhead rates.
11. Fixed Asset Register Management.
12. Accruals and Provision calculations.
13. Assist with the external audit.
14. Provide cover/support for other areas of the finance department as and when required, i.e. Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
Experience, Qualifications and Professional Memberships:
15. CIMA / ACCA qualified, or part qualified.
16. Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment.
17. Advanced Excel skills.
18. Proficient with ERP Systems.
19. Proficient with Microsoft products, including Power BI.
20. Driven, ambitious, and enthusiastic attitude.
21. Ability to work in a team.
22. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
