THE COMPANY
A well-established consumer products supplier known for their quality home and garden products. They’re stocked by some of the biggest retailers, garden centre chains, and supermarkets. They’re growing and have created a new role for a Junior National Account Manager to be mentored the Sales Director on a fast-track development plan.
THE ROLE
* Building and developing your own portfolio of mid-tier accounts
* Supporting an experienced Sales Director with the company’s largest strategic customers
* Analysing sales data, tracking account performance and providing insights
* Comp shopping, gap spotting, and suggesting opportunities to grow sales
* Helping prepare customer presentations using AI and other tools
* Attending key customer meetings with the Sales Director, managing samples and taking notes for follow-up actions
* Representing the brand at trade shows in the UK and Europe, talking to customers and building connections
* Working closely with internal teams so customer needs are met
* Staying up to date with industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities
ABOUT YOU
The responsibilities of the role can be adjusted depending on your experience. You might already be working as a Junior NAM or National Account Executive and be keen to pick up accounts straight away. Or you may be a Sales Executive, Key Accounts Assistant, Customer Support or Graduate interested in National Account Sales and happy to shadow until you find your feet. The key qualities they are looking for is someone who is ambitious, personable, a good communicator, with good attention to detail and keen to learn.
THE REWARD
You’ll be mentored by a Sales Director with decades of experience who is keen to help you grow and progress. This role will put you on a fast-track to becoming a National Account Manager. On top of a base salary and bonus earnings you’ll get a car allowance and private medical cover. Opportunities for national and international travel to customer meetings and trade shows.
