Join Aramark UK and make every day count!We’re looking for a Retail Assistant to work at Fort George. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face of our retail unit, making sure customers have a wonderful experience every time they visit.
What you'll do
As a General Service Assistant, you’ll play a key role behind the scenes and front-of-house. Your day will include:
* Make hot and cold drinks while ensuring food safety standards are met.
* Prepare fresh grab-and-go options like sandwiches, wraps and paninis, burgers, and pizza.
* Keep our front and back of house spotless and welcoming.
* Cashing up and till work.
* Undertake relevant training as required of all aspects of the role, including working towards your Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health and Safety Level 2 qualifications.
What we’re looking for
* You’ve lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK
* Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
* Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but not essential – we’ll provide full training
* Comfortable working as part of a team and occasionally on your own.
