Key responsibilities as the Building Surveyor:
* Managing and delivering a wide range of building surveying services, from condition and dilapidation surveys to design, specification, and project management
* Providing technical advice on construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects
* Supporting senior colleagues on major capital works while independently managing smaller-scale projects
* Collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, sustainable outcomes
* Contributing to business development and helping strengthen client relationships
Requirements:
* Degree-qualified in Building Surveying (RICS accredited preferred)
* MRICS qualification or working towards chartership
* Proven experience across multiple sectors such as commercial, education, or public buildings
* Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
* Strong contract knowledge (particularly JCT)
