Role : Air Export Operator Salary: £35,000 DOE Location : South Manchester About the Role My client is seeking an experienced Air Export Operator to join a busy and growing freight forwarding team. This role is responsible for managing air export shipments from booking through to final departure, ensuring excellent customer service and full compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, overseas agents, airlines, and internal departments to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of cargo worldwide. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and manage air export shipments from origin to destination. * Arrange bookings with airlines and overseas partners. * Prepare and process all export documentation, including air waybills and customs paperwork. * Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, aviation security requirements, and company procedures. * Liaise with customers, suppliers, carriers, and overseas agents regarding shipment status and requirements. * Monitor shipments and proactively resolve any operational issues. * Calculate and process shipment costs, invoicing, and job costing. * Maintain accurate records within the freight management system. * Provide high levels of customer service and regular shipment updates.
