Devonport Dockyard
in Plymouth, Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a significant redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site! Location & Hours
Location:
Site Based, Plymouth, Devon Hours:
45 Hours, Permanent, Full Time Security Clearance
Due to the high-security nature of the military naval base, candidates must undergo additional security checks. A
BPSS level of security clearance
is required, which can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years will be considered for this role. Your Responsibilities
As a
Works Manager
, you will play a crucial role in our Nuclear team, ensuring the successful delivery of the redevelopment project. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Planning, coordinating, and executing site works safely, on time, and within budget. Ensuring compliance of construction operations and materials with project requirements. Controlling short and medium-term programmes for timely and economical completion. Implementing effective corrective actions for identified issues. Supporting the General Foreman in adhering to assessed construction risks and control measures. What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have: An HNC (Construction related) or Level 6 NVQ in Construction Site Management. Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in site construction activities and management. A Gold Supervisors or Black Managers Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
