Overview
The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the venue, maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the team to deliver outstanding service. Acting as a senior point of contact, this role combines operational oversight with hands-on leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and enjoyment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily venue operations to ensure smooth execution and high service standards.
Support, coach, and develop managers and team members to optimize performance and guest satisfaction.
Act as the senior escalation point for operational or guest-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Lead by example, engaging with guests to create memorable experiences and encourage repeat visits.
Motivate and inspire the team to achieve sales targets and enhance overall venue performance.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and operational policies.
Contribute to training initiatives and the continuous development of service excellence across all departments.
Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a hospitality or leisure management role.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
A passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating welcoming experiences.
Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities.
Financial awareness and understanding of venue performance metrics.
