Salary: £39,851 – £46,800 per year (M2 - M5)
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to M5.
Teach Now is recruiting an experienced Nursery Teacher for a vibrant and successful primary school in Enfield, North London. This role is ideal for a teacher with strong EYFS experience, specifically within Nursery, who is passionate about delivering high-quality early years education.
You will take full responsibility for a Nursery class of 30 pupils attending part-time across morning and afternoon sessions, supported by four support staff. Due to a high number of pupils with additional needs, the school is looking for someone confident in differentiating lessons and supporting a range of learning needs.
This position is suitable for teachers on the M2–M5 pay scale. ECTs and M6 teachers will not be considered.
The school is a large, inclusive primary serving Reception to Year 6, with excellent facilities, spacious classrooms, a strong SEN department, and a well-regarded PE programme. It offers a supportive environment and a great opportunity to grow your teaching career.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong EYFS experience, specifically within a Nursery setting
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Ability to differentiate lessons effectively
• Suitable for teachers between M2 and M5 on the main pay scale
• ECTs and M6 teachers are not eligible for this role
Key Responsibilities
• Take full responsibility for a Nursery class within the EYFS setting
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
• Differentiate learning to support pupils with a range of needs
• Work closely with four support staff to create a supportive classroom environment
• Monitor progress and support children’s early development and learning outcomes
