E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers creators and rights holders. As a Reactive Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for risk assessment, policy strategy and operational execution of listing level governance policies in the EMEA region. Responsibilities - Act as a subject matter expert for intellectual property rights policy, focusing on reactive governance and the strategy to accurately process infringement notifications filed in the EMEA region on the TikTok Shop IPPC. - Create and enhance content policies, processes, and frameworks to minimize IPR risk from a reactive governance approach; - Identify gaps, loopholes, and deficiencies in governance policy, process, and metrics, and initiate projects to improve quality; - Work closely with our moderation and vendor teams to improve quality and efficiency metrics; - Educate internal and external stakeholders to ensure IPR protection is enforced across TikTok Shop, including conducting trainings to educate XFN teams. - Collect data and conduct segmentation analysis to minimize IPR risk on the platform. - Handle High-Priority escalations to ensure bad actor behaviour is caught and handled in a timely manner.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields. - 2-5 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: Intellectual Property Operations, Risk Management, Trust and Safety, or Policy Development in the E-commerce or other tech industry companies; - Strong project or programme management skills with the ability to meet deadlines; - Demonstrated capacity for critical thinking and analysis with strong attention to detail; - Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced working environment; - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively liaise with cross-functional teams, and collaborate with different business units and technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability to build meaningful policies and successfully implement policies at a global level; - Experience working at a global company and navigating nuances of a global environment.
