Senior Logistics Team Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Slough or New Malden (with occasional travel as required)
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Key ResponsibilitiesLead & Inspire
* Manage, coach, and support the logistics team with daily briefs, regular check-ins, and clear communication.
* Plan rotas in advance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and pride across all logistics functions.
Drive Operational Excellence
* Oversee and optimise daily logistics operations, including UK and international transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
* Maintain accuracy across all logistics systems, reports, and documentation.
* Ensure all deliveries meet deadlines without compromising safety or compliance.
Compliance & Safety
* Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, Health & Safety standards, and all relevant local, national, and international trade regulations.
Build Relationships & Protect the Brand
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, shipping and transport partners, and internal departments.
* Support customer-facing operations, ensuring all logistics activities reflect the company's values of professionalism, reliability, and customer focus.
Strategic Development
* Design and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and enable business growth.
* Conduct in-depth performance analysis of domestic and international partners.
* Manage risks proactively and develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
* Oversee the adoption of new digital tools and technologies to streamline processes, tracking, and reporting.
What We're Looking For
* Fluency in Mandarin with strong business communication skills.
* Proven experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain management with a strong track record of leading teams.
* Excellent leadership and people skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
* In-depth knowledge of transport legislation, trade compliance, and Health & Safety regulations.
* Experience with logistics systems and digital tools for planning and reporting.
