Our client is a £100m+ manufacturing and distribution business operating across the UK. Profitable, ambitious, and planning to double turnover, they're embarking on a major ERP transformation to modernise their finance function.
This is a genuine number two role with a path to Finance Director, and this position has been created as part of structured succession planning.
Based in Bradford (office-based), you'll report directly to the FD and take ownership of management accounting and financial control for two group subsidiaries. You'll lead the finance workstream of a SAP Business One implementation, replacing legacy systems and building reporting infrastructure for the next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary
* Full balance sheet ownership and reconciliations
* Financial oversight of two subsidiaries
* VAT returns and tax compliance support
* Year-end audit leadership
* AP oversight and costing methodology
* Lead finance implementation of new ERP system
* Design improved reporting and business intelligence from the ground up
What we're looking for:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)ideally 0-5 years PQE
* Manufacturing or multi-entity background
