The role is based at our site in Tywyn, Wales (flexible working arrangements may be discussed). Reporting to the HR Business Partner, this role focuses on our manufacturing business in Tywyn, Wales (Brighter Foods) with potential to assist other THG manufacturing businesses as needed.
About the role: THG Nutrition is looking to recruit an HR (People) Advisor to support employee relations, data analysis, project work, and HR activities across the wider group. You will provide advice and guidance to staff and managers and help ensure processes and procedures are followed.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the management of all core employee relations (ER) cases across business areas, including sickness, flexible working requests, performance management plans, grievance and disciplinary processes.
* Provide advice and guidance to colleagues and managers as required.
* Coordinate with the HR Business Partner to ensure appropriate support is provided on complex ER issues.
* Coach and influence managers to develop their people management and leadership skills.
* Ensure all formal performance management cases are documented.
* Support with creation and rollout of engagement activities.
* Deliver HR module training to the internal management team.
* Work closely with the wider People Team (Talent, Payroll/T&A/Shared Service/People Data).
* Provide data analysis and attrition analysis; conduct exit interviews and action planning.
Skills and Experience
* At least two years HR experience.
* Clean UK Driving Licence.
* Experience advising managers and stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
* Experience managing HR cases in warehousing or manufacturing environments is desirable.
* Strong technical knowledge of current employment legislation.
* Strong listening, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to analyse data and summarise key findings; good communication and data presentation skills.
* Capable of using initiative; flexible and adaptable.
* CIPD qualification is desirable.
