At Nexans, we are powering the future through electrification, energy transition, and the rapid expansion of digital infrastructure. DataCenters are a strategic growth pillar for us, and we are strengthening our New Markets & Business Development organization to support this ambition. We are now hiring a Global Key Account Manager – DataCenter(Channel) to accelerate our presence across the UK & Ireland, working at the heart of the DataCenter ecosystem with distributors, integrators, EPCs, and system partners.

This is a high-impact role for a senior commercial leader who thrives in complex, matrix environments and wants to help shape Nexans’ DataCenter growth story.


Getting a Flying Start

As Global Key Account Manager – DataCenter(Channel), you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic DataCenter accounts through partners across the UK & Ireland, with selected international exposure. You will lead long-cycle, high-value projects, build C-level relationships across customers and partners, and orchestrate Nexans’ internal teams to convert opportunities into scalable, profitable growth.

You will act as the commercial quarterback for your accounts – defining strategy, driving specification, leading complex deals, and ensuring Nexans becomes a preferred partner within the DataCenter ecosystem, spanning colo, hyperscale, AI/HPC, and mission‑critical facilities.


How You Make an Impact

Own and develop strategic DataCenter accounts via channel partners, building multi‑year account strategies and growth plans.

Drive specification and preferred‑supplier positioning with distributors, EPCs, system integrators, and installers.

Lead complex, high‑value opportunities end‑to‑end, coordinating Pricing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, and Product teams.

Build trusted C‑level relationships across customers and partners, acting as Nexans’ single point of accountability for assigned accounts.

Grow a robust pipeline and deliver sustainable revenue while protecting margins and managing commercial risk.

Bring market intelligence back into Nexans, influencing offers, entry kits, and DataCenter sales plays through structured customer feedback.


Your Starting Points

10–15+ years’ experience in B2B sales or key account management within DataCenters, critical infrastructure, energy, electrification, or industrial projects.

Proven success managing strategic accounts through channel partners (distributors, EPCs, system integrators).

Strong track record in complex, long-cycle, project‑led sales environments.

Experience operating in international, matrix organizations with strong stakeholder influence skills.

Solid knowledge of the UK / Ireland DataCenter market (international exposure is a strong plus).

High commercial acumen with executive‑level communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building capabilities.
