About the role

The Role

Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us?

The role involves working on the Central Hire Desk, based in our Glasgow Head Office. The Major Account Hire & Sales Coordinator ensures that all business between selected Major Account customers and GAP Group is carried out efficiently and effectively. You will operate and maintain spreadsheets, manage telephone enquiries from customers and GAP employees, obtain detailed information from customers, and produce weekly reports. This is a detailed role with responsibilities including raising contracts and authorising purchase order invoices in line with customer agreements.

About You

Applicants should have:

• Significant experience in a high-volume, fast-paced accounts administration role, preferably within the hire industry
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with experience analysing data and producing high-quality reports
• Effective communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
