Nursery Assistant – Sandwell
Location: Sandwell, West Midlands
Pay Rate: £12.50 – £13.80 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary opportunities

About the Role:
As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You’ll work closely with experienced staff to deliver engaging activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the daily running of the nursery and the delivery of the EYFS curriculum.
2. Assist in creating a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
3. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
4. Support with feeding, changing, and ensuring children’s wellbeing at all times.
5. Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
6. Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (Desired)
7. Minimum 6 months UK nursery or early years’ experience.
8. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
9. Good knowledge of EYFS and child development
10. A genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and learning
11. A positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
