Teacher (SEND) Rochdale £150 – £210 per day (depending on experience) Full-time, ongoing position TeacherActive are working with a highly respected SEN school in Rochdale that supports secondary-aged students with a wide range of additional needs, including Autism, SLD, PMLD and complex communication challenges. The Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will teach small groups of secondary-aged learners with complex needs. Deliver a creative, sensory and differentiated curriculum that promotes engagement, independence and communication. Work closely with a strong team of support staff, therapists and senior leaders to meet each student’s EHCP targets. Foster a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. The Ideal SEN Teacher: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and previous experience within an SEN or complex needs setting. Confident in using communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton or AAC.
