Key Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators
* Manage a customer caseload effectively to help clients realize their potential and secure sustainable employment.
* Provide one-to-one information, advice, and guidance sessions to job seekers.
* Prepare tailored job search materials and products to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with local employers and stay informed about the local labor market to identify opportunities.
* Support customers with pastoral needs and signpost to additional support services.
* Advise on learning programs and qualifications.
* Coach customers, promoting positive employment behaviors.
* Monitor performance to ensure customer attendance and success metrics meet or exceed national benchmarks and contractual requirements.
* Keep accurate records of customer progress, setting SMART targets.
* Work with diverse customer groups, including young adults, adults, those with learning difficulties or disabilities, lone parents, offenders, and those in the community.
* Identify and refer customers needing literacy and numeracy support to promote independence and learning skills.
* Adhere to policies regarding Child and Adult at Risk and Data Security.
* Maintain a professional company image and support quality, information security, equality, and health and safety policies.
* Perform additional duties aligned with the role's responsibilities.
Key Performance Indicators
* Number of referrals to schemes within Acorn Training.
* Outcomes achieved for each candidate.
* Number of face-to-face meetings with candidates, meeting company standards.
* Customer service satisfaction levels.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Qualifications and Training
* Full NVQ Level 2 in customer service, business administration, accounting, or IT.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
* Level 2 IT qualification, e.g., ECDL.
* Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification.
* IEP Accredited Sector Induction (Level 2).
* IEP Accredited Certificate in Employability Practice (Level 3).
* First Aid at Work Certificate.
* IOSH Health and Safety Qualification.
Experience
