We are delivering Phase 2 of a Progressive Digital Modernisation programme, focused on the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions on Azure. This programme centres on modernising applications using cloud-native AI services and enabling enterprise-scale adoption of advanced AI capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI / ML Engineer to help deliver production-grade AI solutions across this transformation initiative.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying end-to-end AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for production environments. The role will focus on Agentic AI solutions, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and cloud-native AI architecture, working closely with engineering, data, and business stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML and Generative AI solutions into production
* Hands-on experience building Agentic AI solutions
* Strong Python development skills with experience using AI/ML frameworks
* Experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure OpenAI
* Strong experience building and optimising:
o RAG pipelines
o LLM integrations
o Agent-based workflows
* Expertise in:
o Model xsngvjr selection and fine-tuning
o Prompt engineering
o Enterprise system integration
* Solid data science fundamentals, including:
o Data analysis
o Feature engineering
o Machine learning
o Statistics
Desirable Skills
* Advanced prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning
* Experience integrating AI solutions within complex enterprise environments
* Strong understanding of cloud-native AI architecture best practices
