I am working with a company looking to take on an injection mould technician to support and develop the engineering function for their busy manufacturing sites. This business has gone from strength to strength, having a strong orderbook and have reinforced their success with a recently opened a new premises. Role & Responsibilities: Machine setup & operation, installing mould tools, setting machines, and starting production runs Process setting, adjusting parameters like temperature, pressure, and cycle times to achieve the correct part quality Inspecting parts during production to ensure they meet specifications and identifying defects Resolving day-to-day issues with machines or tooling and carrying out routine maintenance Training junior members of staff identifying and resolving issues and defects during production Creating or improving mould tools to produce parts efficiently and to the required quality standards Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Injection Moulding experience. Engineering qualifications. Experience of process improvements.
