Overview
Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Luton
Salary: £25,400 -£26,100
Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Inspector to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business based in Luton. Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Quality Inspector to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the site's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.
Responsibilities
* Audit product in accordance with defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards
* Ensure all deviations from either defined build instruction or IPC-A-610 standards are clearly identified and logged in line with defined procedures
* Ensure defined processes are robust, clear & concise and can consistently achieve the required standards
* Ensure all processes are stringently adhered to, any gaps or process improvements should be highlighted to your immediate supervision. They will ensure that effective remedial actions are taken in a timely manner including updating supporting documentation in QMS
* Compliance with the company Quality Standard and procedures
Experience & Qualifications
* Understanding Factory Logix (Aegis)
* Current Certification to IPC-A-610 (desirable)
* Component Knowledge & Identification
* Able to follow Customer Drawings
* ESD Awareness
* Understanding & use of QMS system
* Attention to detail
* Customer focussed
* Ability to creatively challenge issues
* Excellent communication skills
