Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the therapy team within a CQC rated 'outstanding' NHS specialist Trust. The post holder will be based within the Liverpool Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team (The Breathe Programme). The successful post‑holder will assist the team to deliver the pulmonary rehabilitation service to patients within hospital and community settings, including community venues and patients own homes. You are expected to use your own car within the community, business insurance is required, and you will be paid travel expenses for your mileage.
Responsibilities
* Assist the team to deliver pulmonary rehabilitation service to patients in hospital and community settings, including community venues and patients own homes.
* Contribute to the assessment and treatment of patients both individually and in groups, undertaking therapeutic work and supervising patients in activity relating to their treatment.
* Assist with integrating patients into digital resources as part of their educational rehabilitation; IT skills are essential.
* Provide excellent patient‑centred care by working individually and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, and by making clinical decisions at this level.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in a health or care setting with respiratory experience.
* Good communication skills and ability to work well individually and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Strong IT skills and ability to work with digital resources.
* Ability to make clinical decisions and apply patient‑centred care and problem‑solving skills.
Training & Supervision
The post holder will receive competency‑based training and regular supervision to ensure a smooth settlement into the role.
Working Conditions
* Use of own car required; business insurance and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

* The Trust is a no‑smoking site.
* UKVI guidance may prohibit sponsorship for certain posts; applicants should consult UKVI guidance.
Reference & Care Certificate Requirements
* At least one written reference from your current or most recent employer, provided from a professional work email address.
* Completion of all 15 standards of the Care Certificate within the first 6 months.
