Water is the lifeblood of our community. As our next Production Manager, you won't just be managing a site; you’ll be safeguarding a vital resource. We are looking for a methodical, safety-first leader to guide our team of Process Technicians in delivering wholesome, high-quality water to thousands of homes.
In this pivotal role, you sit at the heart of our operational management team. Your goal is simple but critical: reliability. You will oversee the end-to-end production process, ensuring our sites perform at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of water quality and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead & Nurture: Bridge the gap between our seasoned experts and our newest recruits. You'll foster a cohesive culture through knowledge transfer, training, and clear performance coaching.
* Operational Excellence: Take full accountability for site reliability, water resource control, and rigorous quality checks.
* Strategic Oversight:Manage budgets, set performance indicators, and provide detailed reporting on site metrics.
* Safety Stewardship: Champion a proactive Health & Safety culture, ensuring every team member goes home safe every day.
* Incident Management: Act as the subject matter expert during operational incidents, providing calm and decisive leadership when it matters most.
About You
We are looking for a problem-solver who can think strategically while staying "boots on the ground" with their team.
* Experience: Proven track record in supervising production or operational sites (Water Industry experience is highly desirable).
* Technical Rooting: A background in Process, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering is a significant advantage.
* Leadership Style: You are an influencer who can maintain a cohesive team structure during periods of growth and change.
* Analytical Mindset: The ability to digest complex data and turn it into actionable operational strategy.
* Essentials: A full, clean driver’s licence and a flexible approach to the evolving needs of a 24/7 utility business.

Compensation package:
Up to £49,000 plus car allowance depending on experience
