We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Bradford-on-Avon, United Kingdom. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and quality of life in their own homes and within the community.
Assist clients with everyday activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication management
Support clients in accessing community activities and pursuing their interests
Help with domestic duties such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Ensure clients' safety and well-being both at home and in the community
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and family members to deliver comprehensive care
Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition
Encourage and support clients in developing life skills and maintaining their independence
Adapt care plans to meet the changing needs of clients
Previous experience in a support worker role or similar caring position is preferred
Experience with challenging behaviour is advantageous, but not essential
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is required
Strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping others
Physical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasks
Basic first aid knowledge is desirable, but training can be provided
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
