Key Responsibilities:
The Planning Response Team, within NIEA, is the single point of contact for planning consultations and environmental queries related to planning, and provides a single, integrated response for each consultation across DAERA’s areas of responsibility.
The main role and duties of the job holder are;
To support Staff Officers in working towards overall business goals/objectives.
1. Manage and maintain Content Manager, NIEAPC database and uploads to the NIPlanning Portal/DAERA dedicated web page according to agreed processes
2. Manage correspondence and telephonecalls in accordance with DAERA Customer Service guidelines and procedures.
Prepare responses in accordance with DAERA Customer Service guidelines and procedures
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
3. 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English & 2 A Levels (Proof of certs required)
4. 12- 18 months admin experience
5. Effective organisational skills, with the ability to identify, manage and respond to changing priorities and use own initiative.
6. Communicate effectively orally and in writing, in a clear, succinct manner using appropriate styles to meet the needs of the customer.
7. Good interpersonal skills, working collaboratively, sharing information and building professional relationships with colleagues, in order to help achieve business objectives and goals.
8. Competent in the use of IT and information management systems
