The Government Property Agency (GPA) is the largest property holder in government, managing over £2.1 billion in property assets and more than 55% of the government’s office estate.
We are transforming the Civil Service by creating excellent workplaces, leading the UK's largest commercial office programme, reducing carbon emissions from government offices, and delivering greater value for taxpayers. We seek innovative, solutions-focused individuals to join our team.
Representing the UK's top covenant – His Majesty’s Government – we lead major programmes such as the Government Hubs Programme, Whitehall Campus Programme, and Net Zero Programme. We also provide cost-effective property services including asset management, lifecycle replacement, and workplace services.
Our culture is driven by innovation and progress. We promote lifelong learning, curiosity, and self-improvement. Our four core values guide our actions:
* Striving for excellence: Delivering great results
* Empowering through respect: Ensuring fair treatment for all
* Acting with integrity: Doing the right thing
* Succeeding together: Relying on each other for success
Join our diverse team that leads with purpose—improving sustainability, fostering social value, promoting inclusivity and flexibility, and stimulating economic growth. Be part of a meaningful impact, influence, and shaping our future.
The GPA is committed to diversity, equality, and inclusion, actively encouraging applications from candidates who are disabled, from diverse ethnic and gender backgrounds, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Workplace Experience Team is a high-performing, collaborative group responsible for customer-focused initiatives, including Future Ways of Working, Customer Experience, and Customer Insight.
The Future Ways of Working team embeds and evolves modern working practices across the civil service, building on the principles of flexibility and choice, and supporting a network of practitioners to inform future practices.
The Engagement Manager for Future Ways of Working will enable contributions from the practitioner network and other groups to influence future working methods through engaging events and analysis of outputs. They will also support the wider community with advice on embedding modern practices.
The team is small and versatile, so the successful candidate may support other areas as needed.
