Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE) depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school in Worcester where you can make a real impact on the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, helping them engage with learning
* Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Support teachers with tailored strategies for students with SEMH and other additional challenges
* Build students’ confidence and emotional well-being through patient support
* Help manage the classroom to keep students engaged and focused
What We’re Looking For
* A compassionate, flexible individual who is motivated by the desire to help students overcome challenges
* Prior experience working with SEND students is helpful, but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided
* Strong communication skills to establish meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families
* A proactive approach to supporting students\' academic, social, and emotional development
