In this role, you will provide support to the Site Management Team on all aspects relating to Health & Safety management & development and implementation of a certificated ISO 45001/14001 Management System. You will be involved in risk assessments, site inspections and incident management and also driving effective HSE communications through reports, safety bulletins and newsletters. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE Essential Must possess a proactive, positive attitude towards improving health and safety standards and developing a positive health and safety culture. High degree of accuracy in work. UK driving licence Required Competencies Independent planning and time management skills. Ability to work with minimum supervision. A good knowledge of MS office applications. Good written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Experience Accredited Management System experience. Internal ISO auditing experience. First Aid at Work qualified. Travel You must be available for regular travel to other AHKES or client sites, depending on operational needs. The successful candidate will receive full training on our internal Health and Safety Management System, along with additional development opportunities. As part of their progression plan, they will also be supported to undertake the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
