Your newpanyYou will be joining a well-established heritage and visitor‑focused organisation with a multi‑entity finance structure. The finance team operates as a central shared‑services function and is based full‑time on site in Aylesbury.
Your new roleAs an Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the finance team across core accounting activities including invoice processing, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, BACS runs, and month‑end support. The role offers exposure to accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, intepany recharges, and audit schedules. This is a temporary role initially, with strong potential to extend or move into a permanent position, and an immediate start is available.What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience across AP, AR, and general ledger
2. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup formulas
3. Experience with accounting systems (Sage 200 desirable)
4. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
5. Ability to work full‑time, office‑based (Monday–Friday, hours)
