We're currently recruiting a Programme Facilitator to join our Interventions Team - a role that places you at the heart of meaningful behavioural change. About the Role As a Programme Facilitator, you will deliver accredited, structured interventions to groups of prisoners who are motivated to address the behaviours and beliefs linked to their offending. You'll work directly with residents to support their rehabilitation, reduce the risk of reoffending, and help them develop pro-social thinking, goals, and behaviours - all in line with national guidance and psychological standards. This is a dynamic, people-facing role where your ability to communicate, motivate and engage is just as important as any previous experience you bring. Key Responsibilities Deliver accredited behaviour change programmes to required standards. Conduct motivational and assessment interviews pre-group selection. Complete session planning, facilitation, debriefing, and reporting. Write non-judgemental post-programme reports to a high standard. Carry out 1:1 interventions as required. Attend and engage in regular supervision and training. Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive group environment. Uphold all professional, contractual, and ethical standards (e.g. PSI, PSOs). Liaise with Offender Management Unit (OMU) and contribute to risk management. Be a positive role model to those navigating change. What We're Looking For Essential: A genuine interest in group work and behaviour change. Ability to deliver structured sessions and maintain group engagement. Comfortable working with people who present with complex thinking and behavioural patterns. Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to use initiative and work independently within a team setting. Commitment to inclusion, fairness, and non-judgemental practice. Desirable: Interest or experience in working with people who need support with cognitive or behavioural challenges. Familiarity with offending behaviour programmes or similar structured interventions. Understanding of treatment models and services available in the justice sector.
