Join to apply for the Healthcare Support Worker - East Brig role at NHS Scotland.
East Brig is a 12 bedded rehabilitation unit for people with severe and enduring mental illness. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Worker (Band 3) to join our established multi-disciplinary team. You would be responsible for delivering comprehensive, individualised treatment and recovery plans which support patients to return home. The successful candidate will work closely with the MDT and 3rd sector agencies, advocating on behalf of patients, promoting a collaborative and recovery orientated focus throughout. If you are flexible, resourceful, have excellent verbal/written communication skills and aspire to deliver exceptional standards of care we would be very interested in hearing from you.

Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive, individualised treatment and recovery plans to support patients to return home.
* Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and third sector agencies.
* Advocate on behalf of patients and promote a collaborative, recovery-oriented approach.
* Maintain high standards of care and contribute to a positive, patient-centred environment.
Qualifications and requirements
* Health Care Support Worker – Band 3 (or equivalent) and relevant experience in a rehabilitation/mental health setting preferred.
* Flexible, resourceful with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Willingness to work within a multi-disciplinary team and engage with service users and their families.
