An opportunity has arisen in the Patients' Education Team for an Affiliate Lecturer. We are seeking an excellent communicator and teacher to fulfill this role. The post holder will plan and deliver educational sessions to patients, focusing on raising literacy and numeracy standards within our patient population. Our education is delivered in a unique setting that can be challenging and rewarding. If you possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.
The successful candidate will hold a Level 4 qualification in Teaching & Learning (CET or equivalent). A PGCE or QTS is desirable but not essential. You will need experience in planning and delivering lessons to learners.

The post holder will maintain a caseload of learners, report on their progress and engagement, and demonstrate excellent written communication skills.
You will assist in escorting patients to and from sessions and engage in PVMA training annually, so personal physical fitness is important.
This role also involves supporting Band 5 & 6 Lecturers in a classroom environment.
