The Role
You’ll support teachers and students in delivering engaging, safe and creative practical lessons across Resistant Materials, Graphics and Product Design. The role involves maintaining tools and machinery, preparing materials and ensuring the workshop runs smoothly and safely.
The Department
DT is a popular and well-resourced subject area within the school, with modern workshops, CAD/CAM equipment, 3D printers and laser cutters. You’ll be part of a professional, welcoming team that values innovation and student creativity.
Responsibilities
* Preparing materials, tools and equipment for practical lessons.
* Maintaining and repairing workshop machinery and tools.
* Assisting in demonstrations and supporting students during projects.
* Managing stock, ordering supplies and ensuring safe working conditions.
* Supporting school exhibitions and project showcases.
