Location: Calvington House - Newport, Shropshire
Compensation: £32,242 - £35,122 per annum (including 6–10 sleeps per month at £60 per sleep and an hourly rate of £13.45–£13.75 per hour, with overtime opportunities).
Hours: 173 hours per month – shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off, with sleep‑ins. Rotas are given in advance. Service is 365 days a year.
Essential requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker
* A full driving licence issued in the UK
* Full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
* Values in line with Esland’s, such as taking a therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare
* Aged 21 or above in accordance with industry regulations
* Previous childcare or support worker experience is advantageous but not essential

The role
Our beautiful home near Newport offers a nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people. The team supports them with all of their domestic needs and socialisation skills while learning new things and experiencing fun activities and excursions together. We also offer educational places in our schools where young people can engage in a personalised education plan to help them reach their full potential.
