Responsibilities
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to:
* Work as part of & lead a project team in delivering cutting-edge control system projects. Produce essential project lifecycle documentation, from technical specifications to commissioning documentation.
* Independently develop software and test procedures within project time scales – all while having fun doing it!
* Train and develop less experienced engineers within the business, becoming a leader and sharing knowledge and information.
* Interface with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers, participating in design meetings, and independently managing time and workload to achieve objectives within project timescales.
* Take part in project development, commissioning, and troubleshooting in-house and on-site, including the potential for exciting project work both offshore and abroad.
Required Skills
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
* Proven experience in developing PLC and SCADA software for a range of major manufacturers.
* Good knowledge of communication protocols, fault finding, and network configurations.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and the ability to produce written documents of a good standard.
* Experience in control and automation projects across several industries.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, with the ability to manage time and organize workload to meet deadlines.
Qualifications/Experience
We're looking for candidates with:
* Graduate-level education with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in process control, safety, or automation systems/applications.
