Administrator - Construction Company
Location: Croydon (Office Based)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join a busy construction company based in Croydon. This is a key office-based role supporting day-to-day operations, acting as the first point of contact for clients, and ensuring smooth administrative processes across the business.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, professional, and confident handling inbound enquiries while delivering a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Managing and monitoring the company inbox, responding to emails promptly and professionally

Handling incoming telephone calls and directing queries appropriately
*
Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the onboarding process
*
Supporting client onboarding, including document collection and administration
*
General office administration, including data entry, filing, and record management
*
Assisting with internal coordination between office staff and site teams
*
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
*
Supporting ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Requirements
*
Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role (construction industry experience preferred)

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*
Confident handling phone calls and client-facing communication
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
*
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
*
Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
