What will the role look like?
The purpose of this role is to support the Early Help Hubs to deliver their goals in relation to reducing the impact of alcohol and substance use on families. Working as part of the Early Help Hub Drug & Alcohol Co-ordinators Team this role will focus on work delivered to support children and young people who are using drugs and / or alcohol.
The individual is required to work across the Early Help Hubs and provide expertise in relation to alcohol and substance use, in order to improve outcomes for families. They will have a high level of knowledge in relation to alcohol and substance use treatment as well as the Think Family Work Family agenda, and safeguarding for children and adults.
The role includes delivering interventions to children and young people whose substance and alcohol use is impacting on them and their families.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience of working with children and young people, delivering interventions that encourage positive change in behaviours.
The successful candidate should have an excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience in working in a related field.
