You would be working as part of a supportive, dedicated team with a small class teaching maths, phonics and English.
What You Need to Succeed
The successful candidates will:• be enthusiastic, caring and innovative and have good interpersonal and communication skills within our team• have an enthusiasm for teaching in year 1/2 and are able to be flexible in your planning as you are teaching a mixed year group.• be a clear, supportive teacher in relation to classroom behaviour, listening to children and having high expectations, within our school policies and ethos• to have an understanding of the graduated response for children with additional needs and to include high quality and carefully planned adaptions in all school lessons and experiences• being a proactive practitioner to develop excellent parent professional relationships• to be committed to the wider running of our small schools, taking initiative and being flexible and supportive to colleagues, overseeing after school clubs, attending meetings, actively being involved in school performances, and going above and beyond for the children and families in your class• enthusiasm for different aspects of the curriculum and an ability to enthuse others.
