As part of the VW UK ICT Data Team, the ICT Data Analyst is accountable to deliver data objects and insights. The data is utilised by different functions within the business, to drive key decision making by key business stakeholders.
Based at our Hoddesdon, and reporting to the Data Architect, this role requires an individual who is technically an expert in data modelling, SQL, data quality and Power BI reporting. This role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear and concise communication skills.
As an ICT Data Analyst you will be involved in the delivery of data objects for Power BI report writers with the following responsibilities
Design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient data models using SQL SMS, Azure Data Studio and Power BI. Collaboration within the data team to understand requirements and design and build models that support business requirements Support the data team through data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to provide efficient data access solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot data models, identifying and resolving any performance issues and proactively working on measures to maintain data availability and reliabilityAbout you
At least 3 years of experience as Data Analyst in Azure environment for medium/large organisation. Preferable to have Azure qualifications/certifications for data analysis. Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant subjects, or the equivalent on-the-job experience/professional certification.
