Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced Child Protection Social Worker to join its North Office based out of Nuneaton and Atherstone on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work within a supportive local authority while managing a realistic and well-structured caseload.

* Role: Child Protection Social Worker
* Contract Length: 6 months
* Rate: £33.30 per hour
* Caseload: Approximately 22 cases
* Location: Warwickshire
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of child protection cases in line with statutory requirements
* Undertake assessments, care planning, and court work as required
* Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes
* Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records
* Participate in child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of 3 years\' post-qualified permanent experience in children\'s social work
* Proven experience working within Child Protection
* Social Work England registration
* Strong knowledge of UK child protection legislation, policies, and procedures
* Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
